Full Membership Application
Full Membership is available to an individual who has been working in a Paralegal role for at least three years or works in a Paralegal role and has a relevant Level 4 qualification.
The Paralegal Society Onboarding team will assess their work experience and any qualifications to determine the appropriate Membership grade.
Full Members are entitled to use the letters M.Para.Soc after their name to indicate their professional status, use of a grade appropriate Society logo and Online verified credentials to demonstrate their status to clients, employers and the public.
Notes for completing the Application Form
1. Complete ALL sections of the form.
2. Include full information in the 'long answer' box.
3. Ensure the email address is correct and active.
4. The Onboarding Team will review your details and email you a full application pack including the Code of Conduct within two working days.
5. Submit the completed application without delay so the Onboarding procedure can commence.
New Applicant's Onboarding Procedure
1. Upon receipt of your completed application form, evidence of identity and qualifications the Onboarding Team will assess your proposed grade against the Membership criteria.
2. We might contact you for more details if necessary. NB. There is no Admin charge for grade assessments.
4. Once the application has been deemed satisfactory the Admin team will email your invoice for payment.
5. Once payment has been made you will receive an email with a Welcome letter confirming your grade, Certificate of Membership, Society logo in png form and a Members Handbook. At which time your Membership will commence.
6. You can then arrange your Online account and access the Members Section of the Website.
